Saving Christmas

It’s not only Christmas that needs saving.

Katie's life has been turned upside down leaving her heartbroken, jobless and homeless. Thankfully, Katie has the option to house-sit for her sister, who’s spending Christmas in the USA. Katie left the quaint seaside town of Norman Landing years ago and it’s not her favourite place, but it’ll give her time to heal and plan her future. A future that currently looks bleaker than the wintry weather.

Firefighter, Aaron’s not a fan of Christmas, nor of his new neighbour, Katie, who clearly is. He can’t make her out. One minute she’s dancing in the snow to booming, Christmas songs, the next she’s wearing reindeer-patterned PJs and weeping into a tub of Christmas pudding flavoured ice cream. But Aaron can’t concern himself with Katie. He’s got his own demons to fight and a ghost from a Christmas past he’s unable to lay to rest.

When a fire at Conqueror’s Care Home threatens to ruin the festive season for the elderly residents – one of whom is Katie’s meddlesome gran – Katie’s determined she’ll save their Christmas. Even if it means working with her grumpy and unpleasant, but annoyingly attractive neighbour, Aaron.

Despite their mutual dislike of one another, and being hampered by Aaron’s rambunctious dog, Katie and Aaron pull together and things soon look promising. And not just for Christmas. But will the painful memories of Aaron’s past, and Katie’s recent heartbreak keep them apart? Or will the magic of the season add a touch of sparkle to their lives?

Katie and Aaron want to save Christmas. Will they save one another along the way?

This is book 1 in my new series set in the quaint seaside town of Norman Landing. Each book can be read as a standalone.
