Cover Reveal! Coming Home to Merriment Bay-Part One:A Reunion

Tuesday 10 September 2019

I'm absolutely delighted to reveal the cover of Coming Home to Merriment Bay-Part One: A Reunion. It's such a stunningly gorgeous cover for what, I believe, is a wonderfully heartwarming, new series. The story is about love, loss, family and community, and having the strength to face whatever life throws at you and find happiness, come what may. I adore this story, especially as part of it is loosely based on something that happened to my grandmother. I can't wait to share it with you. And it's available to pre-order right now!

I'm especially excited because my Merriment Bay series is interconnected with my Wyntersleap series, which means that several of the characters are in both series. You'll understand why when you read book one of my Wyntersleap series, Christmas at Wynter House, which is available to pre-order now and is out on 25th September.

Don't worry, it won't be confusing. And ... to make it even more exciting, there'll be a map showing the villages of Wyntersleap and Merriment Bay so that you can see where everything is. It'll be on my website from 25th September - because that's the release date of Christmas at Wynter House.

Here's the blurb for Coming Home to Merriment Bay- Part One: A Reunion

Coming Home to Merriment Bay

Part One: A Reunion

Merriment Bay series

After eighteen years apart, reclusive Cat Devon still recognises her mum’s handwriting. Plucking up the courage to open the letter, its contents send Cat and her teenage daughter, Kyra racing to Merriment Bay, the seaside village where Cat grew up.

But Cat is shocked to find the situation is worse than expected. Despite everything, Cat considers herself to be an optimist at heart and Kyra takes after her. Looking on the bright side may not improve things, but it definitely can’t make them worse.

Clearing out the house that, even now, Cat fondly thinks of as home, she stumbles upon more than just memories in the battered leather trunk in Granny Viola’s bedroom. She discovers a faded photo of an RAF pilot, a pile of unopened letters, and a mystery waiting to be solved.

Who is the man in the – clearly treasured – photo? Cat and Kyra are intent on finding out. But that’s not all Cat’s determined to do. It’s time she came to terms with her past and made peace with her mum and her gran. All the while avoiding bumping into the one man she never quite got over … and keeping a few secrets of her own.

And here's the gorgeous cover.

I hope you love it as much as I do.

It's released on 8th October but as I mentioned, it's available to pre-order now.
